Last month, the FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau released a Public Notice announcing that FEMA, in collaboration with the FCC, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (“EAS”) at 2:20pm ET on November 17, 2026 (with a backup date of December 3, 2026).
