On October 1, 2024, the FCC released a Public Notice announcing that the deadline for all EAS Participants, which include cable operators, to submit their annual Form One for calendar year 2024 is extended to October 18, 2024. The FCC extended the filing deadline, which was previously October 4^th, to reduce burdens on EAS Participants recovering from the damage caused by Hurricane Helene. EAS Participants that have already submitted their ETRS Form One do not need to take any further action.
